We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Consultant Accounting Lead! As a Consultant Accounting Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of financial operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions, leading a team of skilled professionals, and contributing to the strategic financial goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills and a passion for driving financial excellence. Your daily duties and responsibilities in the Consultant Accounting Lead role will generally include:Lead a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environmentOversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAPEnsure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and proceduresManage and coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial results are currentReview journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by the teamCollaborate with department heads to gather budget inputs and provide financial insightsIdentify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function and implement best practicesCoordinate external audits, providing documentation, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a smooth audit processConduct regular financial analyses to identify trends and variancesProvide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-makingEnsure compliance with all tax regulations and oversee the timely filing of tax returnsQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA preferredExperience in accounting leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principlesExcellent leadership and team management skillsAdvanced proficiency in accounting software and ExcelExcellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to duration and needs of project If you are interested in consulting opportunities, please apply today!
