We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as a Consultant Controller! As a Consultant Controller, you will play a crucial role in providing financial leadership, strategic guidance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality services. Your daily responsibilities in the Consultant Controller role will generally include:Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statementsEnsure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standardsWork on development, monitoring and analysis of budgets and forecastsConduct regular financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvementProvide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-makingDevelop and implement internal control procedures and ensure operational effectivenessEnsure timely and accurate filing of all required tax returnsCoordinate and manage external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring a smooth audit processProvide leadership and guidance to the accounting teamOversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payrollCollaborate with executive leadership on financial planning and decision-makingIdentify and mitigate financial risks through ongoing analysis and proactive measuresRespond to ad hoc requests for financial information and analysis from executive leadershipQualifications include:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferredProven experience as a Controller or similar financial leadership role, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and reporting requirementsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategicallyStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiencesAdvanced in Excel and proficient in financial software/ERP systemsCommitment to duration and needs of project, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused consulting environment If you are interested in consulting opportunities, please apply today!
