HR/Recruiting Specialist, Contract to Hire ($25-30/hour)

Vaco has partnered with a growing Software organization located near the Phoenix/Tempe border in their search for a Human Resources/Recruiting Specialist to join their team on a contract to hire basis (3-6 months). The position will primarily handle recruiting (about 70% of the time), with the rest (30%) focused on HR dutues such as Onboarding, i9, day to day tasks, Benefits setup and payroll setup.

Please note, this position will be hybrid, with 2 days on-site per week required.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:Designing and updating job descriptionsCrafting emails for attracting passive candidatesSourcing potential candidates using various online platforms (e.g. professional forums like LinkedIn, Indeed and CareerBuilder.)Screening incoming resumes as well as application formsInterviewing candidates via various mediums (e.g. in-person, phone, video)Preparing and distributing assignments as well as language, logical reasoning, and numerical testsAdvertising jobs on careers pages, job boards, and social mediaProviding contacts of qualified applicants to the company's Hiring ManagersSending job offer and recruiting emails, and also answering queries related to compensation and benefitsMonitoring HR metrics (e.g. source of hire, time-to-hire, and time-to-fill, etc.)Hosting recruitment events and participating in job fairsCollaborating with management for identifying future staffing needsProviding guidance and consultancy to new recruits and also helping them onboard
