Interim Staff Accountant
$25.00-$28.00/hr.
Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will be an integral part of the finance and accounting team and report to the Corporate Financial Reporting Manager. The Staff Accountant will assist with the preparation of monthly journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, preparation of monthly account analysis, preparation of internal and external reports, preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting control documentation, and annual audit support, as well as other duties as needed and assigned.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Include: Monthly account reconciliationsMonthly closing journal entries and other close related dutiesPreparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules and reportsPreparation of monthly and quarterly control documentation for reportingMaintain leased vehicles in Oracle fixed asset systemOther duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: General accounting knowledgeProficient in MS ExcelStrong written and oral communicationStrong organizational skills, detail orientedStrong analytical skills, and ability to create ad hoc reports and analysesAbility to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting2+ years in a public or corporate accounting or finance roleFixed asset accounting experience preferred but not requiredIntermediate or higher MS Excel skillsExperience with Oracle Cloud ERP or similar modern ERP system a plusExperience with Hyperion a plus
