M365/Azure/Intune Modern Workplace Engineer (HYBRID - ATLANTA)

Vaco IT in Atlanta is actively looking for a Sr. M365/Intune/Azure Modern Workplace Engineer for a Permanent/Direct-Hire role with our client based in the north Atlanta area!!**Candidates MUST live in the metro Atlanta as this is a HYBRID role 3 days/week in-office***NO CORP/C2C/VENDORS PLEASE - this is a permanent role.

Primary Responsibilities:Define and own the client's Modern Workplace strategy, roadmap/architecture (IT hardware, client platform and M365 services)Maintain and execute against the Modern Workplace roadmap - reviewing and prioritizing as requiredDrive end-to-end digitization of the workplace environmentEnsure employees are enabled to use the Modern Workplace services most efficient by providing training, collateral and supportMonitor and ensure proper operations of the Modern workplace services by service partners with high degree of outsourcingMitigate risks in the area of Modern Workplace services and maintain a high level of security Minimum Qualifications:Successful university degree in (business) informatics, technical academic training, comparable qualification, or work experienceStrong willingness to take over ownership and drive for results3+ years with Microsoft M365, Intune, Azure and hybrid architectures and service operations (e.g. MS Autopilot, M365 Governance, MS Azure Virtual Desktops, MS Endpoint Manager)Good knowledge of workplace security services (e.g. MS Defender, MS Sentinel, MS MFA, MS Azure AD)Proficient with MS client operating systems and client platform operations, client hardware and accessories & service management processes according to ITIL or similar
