📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Vaco Boston is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Analyst for a global, publicly held manufacturing company.
Payroll ResponsibilitiesReconcile payroll accounts and resolve issuesEnsure accuracy of payroll taxes and reports to federal, state, and local agencies are accurate,Assist with payroll audits.Process the biweekly production of payroll, including garnishments, benefit contributions and payroll related taxesVerify third party processing of statutory reporting and compliance filingsProvide accounting department with payroll register information and other necessary reportsPrepare general ledger entries and present financial reports on a monthly basis Forecast and calculate actual benefits fringe rate.Monitor fringe rate activity and analyze data to develop a fringe budget rate.Prepare fringe true-up each quarter.Develop accurate quarterly accrual for 401k and communicate to Corporate Accounting.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or HR2-3+ years relevant work experienceFull cycle payroll processing experience.Strong Excel skills
