As a Consultant Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of the accounting function. Your daily responsibilities as a Consultant Senior Accountant will generally include:Provide support during preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPLead the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial resultsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification of transactionsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies and irregularitiesContribute to the development and monitoring of budgets and forecastsPrepare comprehensive reports to support management decision-makingAssist in coordination of external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA is a plusExperience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principlesProficiency in accounting software and ExcelDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to duration and needs of project If you are interested in consulting opportunities, please apply today!
