📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
NORTHERN CINCINNATI (2 days on site)
INDUSTRY: FINANCIAL SERVICES
ABOUT THE ROLE* Heavy analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
- Summarizing recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity and operating forecasts.
- Sit with department leaders to establish times and strategy for completing budgets.
- Forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.
- Track revenue and expenses on a monthly basis (comparing actual to forecasted figures) and then make necessary adjustments.
- Perform economic research and studies in areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; minimum 3 years of demonstrated analytical experience (corporate FP&A or public accounting)
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting policies
- Analytical and statistical examination skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met
