Tax Manager

Vaco is working with an industry consumer services company to assist them with the search for a Tax Manager in Radnor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company that has a dynamic tax team and accounting department and is looking for someone who can make an immediate impact. This person will be a key liaison with the external accounting firms and will have in-house production-related duties as well. Key duties and responsibilities will include:Continuous improvement efforts related to processes for capturing accurate tax information.Coaching, training, and hiring tax accountants and analystsProvide information to and review the work of consultants for tax returns, K-1s, and tax reporting initiatives.Research and provide answers to questions made by section 1031 investorsManage all tax matters related to returns, compliance, and provisions with a focus on ASC740Oversee all tax records and recordingsWork with the debt management system and perform calculations for debt covenantsPerform conversions and reconciliations for Tax versus GAAP accounting topicsProvide insight for state specific tax withholding computations and capital gains calculationsOther duties as necessary
