What you will do
Linear/DCDC/Automotive light design specific:Manage HW design work with CMMI. Deliver documents with proper quality. Responsibility for design schematic & writing design justification.

Component specific
You will follow-up of VLS components qualification according to Valeo component qualification processYou support Valeo Lighting Systems hardware engineers in the selection and qualification of appropriate components, in line with Valeo rulesYou adhere to Valeo Lighting Ssystem supplier qualificationYou coordinate with Valeo Design Standards for component standardization You organize PCN (Process/Product Change Notification) with the support of R&D and purchasingYou will conduct technology survey’s You are responsible for development and distribution of standards for VLS component selection & usage Linear/DCDC/Automotive specific:
You maintain a clean project time scheduleYou design new products according to GPI processes and product requirementsYou deliver documents to the Project Manager on timeYou cooperate with PCB layout engineer and take responsibilities for the quality of PCB layoutYou will perform HW testing and analyze the resultsYou report project issues to team leader, project manager and department managerYou collaborate with members of the projectYou contribute to create and develop department TDPYou deploy QRQC with the support of the team leader What you should have:
Bachelor’s Degree in ElectronicsMinimum of 3 years experience in hardware design, experience in automotive industry preferredSkills Expectation:
HW design, HW board level testing, EMI/EMC basic knowledge, HW basic and theoretical calculation skills, good knowledge in HW development full cycle, automotive standards, soldering and DE soldering skills, knowledge on PCB design and layout guidanceSchematic Design Experience: Cadence / ZukenSimulation Tools Experience: Pspice / Simetrix / SimulinkEquipment Handling Experience: multimeter, oscilloscope, high voltage power supply, spectrum analyzer, EMC/MEC testing equipment, soldering ironsExperience with other documentation tools: mathcad, Microsoft office google suite, DOORS, PLM (project lifecycle management tool)
