River Dock
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for the transfer and receipt of all products at the river dock. Must establish and maintain communications in the form of radios, telephone, cell phone, written, or verbal with various groups to promote a safe, smooth transfer of product. Requires the submission of maintenance and purchase requisitions, issue work permits, and change blinds for discharging barges. Required to perform minor maintenance of the dock, valves, hoses, and drip pans as well as general good housekeeping skills.
This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

High school diploma or GED required.Tankermans license for barge activity required.A minimum of one year of experience in refinery operations preferred.Working knowledge of oil distribution systems including Docks and/or transportation areas is preferred.Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Memphis Refinery, required.

Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
