About the Opportunity
A Service Manager at Drake's West Hollywood is a leadership position that is responsible for the hiring, training and development of servers and host team members. In this position, you will manage the quality of guest experience, food and service, departmental P&L performance and maintenance of the property. The Service Manager supports leadership in upholding all brand standards and values, while exceeding business objectives.
Responsibilities
Represent the culture with a high-energy, service-oriented attitude to motivate your team and create a fun work environmentActively manage the F&B operations, quality of service and interact with guests and staff during operationsRespond to guest concerns, both written and verbal, with the ability to creatively solve problems and develop robust solutionsContinuously cross-train, develop and mentor team membersRun pre-shift meetings and update the team on any key business updatesReview reservations and communicate notes as well as special occasionsAssist with interviewing, hiring, training and follow up with new team membersPlan weekly staffing schedulesPlace orders as assigned by General ManagerAssist General Manager in monthly inventory counts and organization of suppliesEnsure established standards of food safety, sanitation and quality are maintainedEnsure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to company recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standardsEnsure all payroll reports, documentation and other information required by our corporate office are submitted in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure adherence to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required2+ years of full-service restaurant management experience preferred Results driven, trustworthy and team oriented
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift to 50 poundsMust be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
