- Responsibilities:*
- Provide expert-level support for Java microservices, Unix, and Oracle production environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Java, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle databases.- Collaborate closely with development teams to address root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.- Proactively monitor system health and performance, identifying areas for optimization and enhancement.- Participate in on-call rotation and incident management, resolving critical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.- Develop and maintain documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures, to streamline support processes.- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies, recommending improvements to enhance system efficiency and stability.
- Requirements:*
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 5+ years of experience in production support, with a focus on Java microservices, Unix, and Oracle.- Proficiency in Java programming and experience with microservices architecture.- Strong command of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.- Extensive knowledge of Oracle database administration, including SQL and PL/SQL.- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure, and relevant certification is a plus.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.- Proven track record of delivering high-quality support services in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
