Job role: Sr. DevOps EngineerDuration: 6+ monthsLocation: San Carlos, CA - hybrid 3 days onsite for first few 2 weeks, then 100% remote
20% on prem vs 80% cloud infrastructure. Needs strong AWS, Linux and terraform.

Not CI/CDAWS security groupsNetworking 99% AWSThey have 5000 employees.It’s a fast pace environment Day to day: terraform code, modifications.AWS infra, setting up new accounts, virtual machine set up, ec2, databasesTerraform is a key skillSome On prem infra (20%) – Linux, ubuntu – config OS with ansible, installing software. They have research cluster they will deploy upgrades too RDS data bases, VPCs, all through terraform and ansible 75% of work is AWS sys admin stuff On prem: needs to have general good Linux admin knowledge Networking : they use networking knowledge-TCP, DNS, VLANS, routing and VPCs – not any routing or sub netting Monitoring and logic Knowledge of SAML + SCIM Provisioning ○ Working knowledge of Microsoft AD group HUGE
