📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Venteon Finance is currently seeking an Accountant for an organization in Metro-Detroit. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team, and growth oriented company.
REQUIREMENTS of the AccountantBachelor's Degree in Accounting3 + years of current relevant accounting experience & current knowledge of GAAPIntermediate to strong excel skills required (Pivots, VLOOKUP’s)
RESPONSIBILITIES of the AccountantOwnership of certain monthly close tasksPrepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations agreeing GL accounts to source reporting/documentsPrepare journal entries including monthly accrualsFixed asset accounting and record maintenanceAssist and or prepare bank reconciliationsVarious ad hoc requests as required by management
