Controller – 7+ years’ experience Venteon is currently seeking a Controller. The ideal candidate will be a critical contributor to the company’s overall financial success. The Controller will direct the financial operations of the company including budgeting, planning and other financial matters. Requirements of the Controller Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required, Master’s degree a plusMinimum of 7 years of progressive experience and responsibilityStrong computer /software experienceExperience interacting with outside auditors, insurance companies, and financial institutionsExperience with corporate business insurances, employee benefits, and profit-sharing plansCash Management experience.Background in the automotive /manufacturing industriesAn extremely strong work ethic Benefits of the Controller● Salary ● Profit Sharing● Full time position● Paid time off ● Medical / Dental / Vision● 401k ● Company perks Responsibilities of the ControllerCoordinates the financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities.Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions,and contract negotiations.Oversees the preparation of periodic financial statements, activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.Cash management for the company.Ensures that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP.)Responsible for risk management and loss prevention programs including property and casualty insurance, general liability insurance, workers compensation, customs and tariffs, and cash management.Reviews financial details from past, present, and forecasted operations; identifies development opportunities and improvements that can be made.Provides management with short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.Conducts monthly business review meeting with Senior Management, reports to board of directors semi-annually and has significant interaction with Executive Leadership.Collaborates with external auditors to provide information needed for the annual audit.Maintains knowledge of organizational procedures, federal and state regulations, and accounting standards.Responsible for annual inventory.Performs other related duties or projects as assigned.
