📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Metro Detroit. The ideal candidates should have Tier 1 Automotive experience.
Requirements of the EHS CoordinatorBachelor's Degree; Focus on EHS preferred Strong understanding of environmental regulations, as well as industrial health and safetyKnowledge of General Industry regulations (OSHA, MIOSHA, ANSII, NIOSH, EPA, etc.)3+ years of automotive industry experience
Responsibilities of the EHS Coordinator Active participation with the Management team in order to define and follow up environmental goals.Ensure the Environmental system accomplishment.Company safety conditions analysis and action plans integration.Ensure Federal-, State-, Local- and MIOSHA-Rules and Regulation fulfillment.Implement Safety initiatives in order to ensure employee safety within our facility.Lead the facility’s joint health & safety team
