Full Charge Bookkeeper

VENTEON Finance is hiring a FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER to provide support in Southfield, MI. You will assist a corporation in Accounting, Finance, and month end close.

JOB TYPE: Full time. Contract to Hire . In office. PAY: $60,000 to $ 70,000 annual based on education/skills.

Requirements of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance desired, will also consider solid work history in bookkeeping.Transactional accounting experience with A/P, A/R, Reconciling accounts and bank accounts. and experience supporting month end close activities.Previous work experience using QuickBooks software required.Excellent Accounting and Financial Analysis skills, Knowledge of GAAP.Strong MS Excel skills required. VLOOKUP and Pivot tables experience plus.Prior work experience supporting a corporate work environment.Duties of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:Assist in managing accounts payable/receivable, cash, and general ledger.Responsible for accurate, timely payment to vendors. Create and send invoices to customers, follow up for payments, apply /forecast cash.Provide support for month end close activities.Maintain journal entries and account reconciliations. Support multi-company general ledger and inter-company transactions.Supporting the payroll and tax processes as needed.Provide financial information to meet gov’t regulations.Support business objectives by providing financial information and performing analysis activities.Provide support for internal/audits.Use advanced skills in MS Excel to pull data and produce reports to support the decision-making process.Use knowledge of the financial industry to make recommendations based on findings.
