Maintenance Lead

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions has an opening for a Facility Maintenance Worker or Lead based in the Tomball, TX Technology Center. This role will support the operation and maintenance for the facility and grounds. General ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the continuous operation of all systems required to run the facilityPerform daily and weekly inspections of all designated areas with detailed documentationSchedule and ensure the completion of all preventative maintenance tasks required for safe and effective operationsComplete facility work requests through direct light maintenance activities or management of vendorsEstablish contracts with key vendors to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the facility and groundsSchedule, closely monitor, and document any maintenance and repair activities performed by vendorsMaintain and expand site CMMS system to include management of vendors and purchase ordersMonitor and modify systems via the site Building Automation System and address issues as neededWork closely with the Site Leader and EHS Manager to address various requirements related to site safety and environmental complianceMaintain necessary parts, equipment and supplies for routine repairs and operation of systemsServe on the Fire Response Team and Site Emergency Management team Qualifications / Requirements High School DiplomaPrior experience maintaining a site level CMMSPrior experience with a Building Automation System Broad knowledge of facility systems including electrical systems, carpentry, general HVAC, air handling units, boilers, chillers, hydraulics, pneumatics, generators, and other mechanical equipmentStrong interpersonal skills to work with cross functional teams Excellent computer skills including both Google and MS Office productsStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to work in an environment with occasional exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards including extreme cold and extreme heatAbility to use hand tools and power toolsAbility to lift 50 lbsAbility to climb ladders, bend, and crawl Desired Characteristics Associates degree in industrial maintenance or applicable certificationsCapable of the overall management of a Building Automation System and a site level CMMSPossess knowledge and skills necessary for performing maintenance tasks and inspecting/reviewing contracted work in an industrial facilityPrior experience with or ability to learn SAP
