Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary:The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and executing talent acquisition strategies for Corporate and National roles at Verano.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, selection criteria, and job details such as duties and responsibilities, minimum and preferred qualifications, physical and mental demands, and work environment.Develop and maintain job descriptions and job posts.Utilize sourcing tools and platforms to find and attract passive talent. Review candidate applications and identify qualified candidates.Conduct phone screens, present qualified candidates to hiring managers, and coordinate interviews.Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.Foster long-term relationships with candidates and internal business partners.Act as a liaison with schools, alumni groups, outreach organizations, and other groups as necessary.Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:2+ years of recruiting experience required.Experience recruiting for roles across business units (finance, IT, marketing, etc.). Experience navigating applicant tracking systems. Experience with sourcing tools and candidate attraction techniques.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Must be 21 years of age or older.Must be willing to undergo a background check.Must be able to register with multiple states’ cannabis commissions as an agent.
