We are seeking a Systems Administrator with specialized expertise in Active Directory (AD), particularly focusing on recovery processes following ransomware attacks. This role is essential for someone deeply involved in the hands-on administration, implementation, and recovery of AD systems. We are looking for candidates with significant experience in Active Directory, emphasizing their ability to swiftly and securely restore AD functionality after security breaches to ensure continued infrastructure stability, security, and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

• *Active Directory Mastery**: Lead all facets of AD administration, implementation, maintenance, and, critically, recovery. Candidates must excel at restoring AD functionality rapidly and securely after ransomware disruptions, ensuring minimal operational downtime.**VMware Environment Optimization**: Oversee the design and optimization of VMware virtualization solutions, ensuring high availability and robust performance.**Linux System Administration**: Manage the setup and ongoing maintenance of Linux systems, demonstrating strong technical proficiency.**Advanced Backup and Recovery Strategies**: Develop and implement sophisticated backup and recovery strategies, with a focus on rapid recovery techniques, especially for AD recovery post-ransomware attacks.**Elastic Stack Management**: Handle the setup and management of Elastic Stack for detailed log and data analysis, optimizing system performance.**Performance Monitoring via Grafana**: Use Grafana to monitor and analyze system performance effectively, initiating proactive measures based on real-time data.**Proxmox and Hyper-V Virtualization**: Administer and enhance Proxmox and Hyper-V environments to support our comprehensive infrastructure needs.**Expertise in Storage Solutions**: Work confidently with advanced storage solutions like Pure Storage, ensuring reliable performance through expert SAN management.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Extensive, proven experience as a Systems Administrator with a significant emphasis on Active Directory, including expertise in AD recovery following ransomware attacks.- Solid experience with VMware, Linux, advanced backup and recovery processes, Elastic Stack, Grafana, Proxmox, Hyper-V, Pure Storage, and SAN management.- Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Advanced certifications focusing on Active Directory) are highly advantageous.- Exceptional problem-solving skills, especially under pressure, focusing on rapid recovery solutions.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, critical for effective collaboration and project success.
