📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
As Technical Account Manager you like working with external clients, the open-source community, and internal colleagues alike. You will be the go-to person for any support topics in the sales and after-sales process and will accelerate the adoption of our portfolio.You will work with architecture and engineering teams inside of our customers to support and build the best possible stream processing architecture for their use cases, both in their data centers and Clouds. This includes understanding their architectures, giving guidance on how they best design their Flink applications and helping them using our products.You are (or will become) an expert in building and designing solutions using distributed data processing systems, learn how customers use them and guide our clients on their journey.And when you are not working with our customers, there are plenty of opportunities at Ververica to learn more about Flink, contribute to the products and open-source projects, and help evangelizing to users around the world.What you will do all day is …... to use your experience to support and solve challenging data engineering and stream processing problems for our customers,... to identify issues in client’s architectures and help solving them,... to guide them towards best-of-breed architectures,... to provide guidance and assistance during the implementation and run phases and make sure projects continue to be successful production deployments,... to become an Apache Flink and stream processing expert.
