📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Eastside Animal Medical Center is an urgent care and general practice located in Grayson, GA, approximately 10 miles outside of the Atlanta perimeter. We are searching for a full- time emergency veterinarian to join our team! Our urgent care and general practice has a wide range of cases which will challenge and build confidence. If you’re an outgoing doctor with a great sense of humor and ability to think on your feet, this is an awesome opportunity for you! Our Hospital offers top-of-the-line equipment including ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiology, full in-house lab work capabilities, and a highly skilled support staff.
We mentor externs from Vet Tech programs, as well as local CVM students, so the ability to mentor is a high priority for doctors. Whether you are a new grad who has the capacity to mentor RVT students, or a seasoned veteran who can take a DVM student under their wing, we see all incoming doctors as having the potential to pass on their knowledge. If you are a new DVM grad, you will have a wealth of experienced Vets to work with as you start your career. This is a fantastic position for new grad and experienced doctors alike. Our full-time ER vet schedule would entail an average of 32 hours per week across 2 weekends on and 1 weekend off every three weeks. This is a great opportunity for work-life balance, as you would have approximately one week off every three weeks.
