📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
VETR Recruiting has been engaged to find a Preconstruction Director for Dallas, TX. The right candidate will have approximately 7 years experience and preferably within the Industrial, office, or Medical markets.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, and/or 5+ years equivalent experience requiredIn-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices requiredProven experience managing large-scale preconstruction efforts with emphasis on client’s core markets of Industrial, Warehouse, Office, and/or Medical.Prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines while constantly changing tasks and demandsExperience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors, and vendorsAble to manage multiple estimating efforts concurrentlyExcellent follow-up and open issues resolutionAbility to communicate with, present to, build trust in and influence others internally and externallyProficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and software programs
