Transportation Planning Intern

ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB’s Orlando, FL office is looking for a Transportation Planning Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2024. The successful intern candidate will learn technical skills and computational software programs necessary to assist in the completion of our highway and roadway design projects.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with numerous VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner Assist in development of planning and engineering solutions Assist in data mining and visualization Perform analysis of data or calculations Perform field data collection and other on-site project support activities Prepare written documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports

Skills And Attributes

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with teammates Self-motivated with attention to detail Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing a degree in planning, engineering, or a related field
