Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the timely collection of payments owed to the company by clients or customers. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for invoicing clients, monitoring accounts, and following up on overdue payments.

What You'll Do

Generate and issue invoices based on services rendered or products soldMonitor and follow up on customer accounts for overdue paymentsCommunicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and disputesMaintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactionsReconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completenessPrepare aging reports and other financial reports related to accounts receivableAssist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

What We're Looking For

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related field.Proficiency in accounting software (Xero and/or Netsuite) and Microsoft Excel.Biotechnology or relevant experience strongly preferredExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

$65,000 - $75,000 a year
