Overview
We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The AP Associate will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
You Will
Manage accounts payable using accounting software, inventory systems and other programsReview invoices for appropriate coding and approval utilizing an intelligent document processing solutionHandle accounts payable for separate entities and vendorsProcess transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accountsVendor on-boardingStatement and account reconciliationsInitiate payments via ACH, check, credit card and wireManage reports for multiple systemsManage multiple inboxesParticipate in the month end closeWork independently to resolve issue both internally and externallyCommunicate and escalates any issues to Manager in a timely mannerUnderstand and adheres to all policies related to the organizationSupport the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systemsStrengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely paymentsAssist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable processExercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reportingComply with departmental and company policyTakes on ad-hoc projects as needed
What You Bring
Experience in accounts payableUnderstanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeepingExperience with accounting, inventory software and online platformsSuperb time management skills and detail orientationStrong interpersonal communication and listening skills.
