Job Summary
Vistra's Summer Internship program’s goal is to develop skills and provide experience for students pursuing a career in the field of power plant operations, maintenance and engineering. Candidate must be a self-starter, flexible, a quick learner, highly motivated and a good team player. Accordingly, you must possess communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership / initiative, and problem solving / decision making
skills.

Performs assigned task with frequent guidance from supervisionGathers issue specific information to support studiesAssist in organization and implementation of assigned projectsComply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environmentContribute to the preparing and presenting of reportsParticipate in special project and committee assignments as requestedParticipate in routine problem - solving efforts
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear)
