We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join us, collaborating with the Installation team to deliver top-notch railing solutions. Liaising with project managers and contractors, you'll ensure timely completion and adherence to standards. As primary on-site technical support, you'll troubleshoot and guide to maintain customer satisfaction and uphold VIVA's excellence.
ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination: Assist the Installation Department in coordinating project tasks, schedules, and resources.Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including plans, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.Client Interaction: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors ensuring clear communication and smooth project progression.Site Visits: Attend site visits to ensure the project is progressing as planned and to address any potential issues. Travel is 10-15% of the role.Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project costs and ensuring the project stays within budget.Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and updates for stakeholders.Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets Viva Railings’ high standards of quality and safety.Research: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to support the project's innovative approach.Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the Installation team as required.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. (experience may be substituted in leu of degree)Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the railing or construction industry.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Proficient in project management software and tools.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of railing systems and related safety standards would be an advantage.
