Senior UI/UX Designer - Hybrid
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The client is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to improve our applications into user-friendly products for our clients.
The responsibilities of this role will include the following
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers.Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.Build page navigation buttons and search fields.Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
Skills
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role - Required - 7 YearsProven experience working on a variety of design projects involving web based applications - Required - 7 YearsKnowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision) - Required - 5 YearsUp-to-date knowledge and hands on working experience of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop - Required - 5 YearsAbility to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options. - Required - 7 YearsAbility to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures. - Required - 7 YearsBusiness knowledge and experience implementing SNAP and other federal programs as per the policy requirements. - Highly desired - 7 YearsExperience designing applications using the social services products - Highly desired - 5 YearsExperience designing and/or developing dashboards using Power BI - Highly desired - 4 YearsExperience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development - Highly desired - 3 YearsExperience designing applications using low code no code technologies like Salesforce, Microsoft dynamics and others. - Highly desired - 2 YearsKnowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing - Highly desired - 2 Years
