📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC I or II) provides intake assessments for individuals enrolled in the treatment program. This is a part time job with flexible hours.CulturePartners with a multi-disciplinary team on assessments, client care planning and treatment goals.Ensures safety of participants.Fosters and creates positive relationships with team members, participants, families, visitors and the community.Interacts with referents, providing customer service, compassion and expertise to each situation.Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct intake assessments for new clients which includes admission paperwork, biopsychosocial information and ASAM Assessment ScalesCompletes all charting and notes within specified time frames.Meet with clinical coordinator and other staff members weekly for clinical review of participants.Exhibit the ability to motivate participants in their early recoveryRequirements and Qualifications CAC I or II Certification active in Washington, DC CACII or above preferred Previous experience working with substance abuse.Job Types: Part-time, ContractExpected hours: 8 – 10 per week
