Title: GIS SME/specialistLocation: Austin TX Responsibilities:Development of training materials and job aids, standard operating procedures related to GIS/geospatialtraining curriculaTranslation of key GIS workflows into documentation, user guides, training materials, and presentationsDocumentation of platform and environment standards to support GIS governance practiceCoordination and engagement with GIS users, solution supportDevelopment of tools, dashboards, web apps, and other GIS products in coordination with TxDOT business areaprograms and training on final productsVideo/audio recording and editingMicrosoft platform – SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint or VisioTechnical writingStaff will be expected to participate or lead training sessions, test and validate training modules and coursework, andassist with visual content development such as graphics and video examples.Formal education in Communications, Education, Geographic Information Systems, or other learning modalities can be substituted for professional experience.
