📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Clinica Colorado provides primary health care and mental health care including prenatal services, chronic and acute care, minor surgery, well-woman/man/child exams, immunizations and vaccinations, cancer screenings including mammograms, pap smears, and other services that support uninsured, low-income persons. Our patient population is largely Hispanic/Latino and 92% of our patients fall at 200% or below the federal poverty level. Our belief is that heath care is a human right.
Clinica Colorado is looking for dedicated board members who have a passion for decreasing disparities in healthcare, and increasing access to high quality, affordable, equitable primary care services for the underserved. Especially the uninsured, Hispanic community.
Our board meets 10-12 times per year (virtually at this time) to ensure governance and fiscal oversight, along with strategically setting objectives to complete our mission.
We are seeking individuals with expertise in
Fundraising/Development Marketing/Communications/Social Media Finance/Non-Profit Accounting Partnership Building Equity work (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) Primary Care/Community Health
Board terms are three years, with the ability to renew twice, for a total of 9 years. We are dedicated to creating a board of directors that are not only passionate about community health, but are also culturally connected to our patient population.
