There are thousands of homeless families in Boston and thousands more living on the brink. The economic tightrope struggling families walk is long, and just one thing can knock them off a lack of affordable housing or child care, fewer work hours, an accident, domestic violence or illness.
Stable housing and access to key resources are the foundations every child needs to thrive. FamilyAid helps families gain the stability they need for long-term success through whole family services.
FamilyAid is hosting it's annual event Building Better Futures and we need support with set up! Volunteers will be setting up registration tables, event signage, staging decorations, and helping to prepare the event space. This is an excellent opportunity for a team to get out of the office and volunteer for an afternoon!
Volunteering for set up does not give you access to the event. FamilyAid is unable to reimburse volunteers for parking and volunteers are encouraged to take public transportation if possible.
