By advancing research, advocacy and disease management support, the Arthritis Foundation helps you navigate the many challenges arthritis brings. You can easily make powerful connections that lead to real, meaningful change.
On Saturday, May 5th, we are in need of enthusiastic volunteers to help us make sure that our event runs seamlessly. Your assistance will be crucial in ensuring that everything goes as planned and that our guests have a fantastic experience. We welcome you to join us and be a part of this memorable event.
The Arthritis Foundation's Walk to Cure Arthritis raises funds to fight and cure the nation's #1 cause of disability. Money raised from the Arthritis Walk will help fund the mission of the Arthritis Foundation, which is bolding pursuing a cure for America’s #1 cause of disability, while championing the fight against arthritis with life-changing resources, science, advocacy and community connections.
Following is a partial list of assignments
Set-up Crew - Assist with set-up, place signage, drop-off tables, water and cupsClean-up Crew - Assist with clean-up and break-down of equipmentCourse Monitors - Setup/mark course, supervise traffic along the course routeGreeters - Greet participants as they arrive, direct them to registration tablesPre-Registration - Check-in participants, collect money, pass out route mapT-Shirt Table - Monitors Distribute T-ShirtsStarting/Finishing Line Attendants - Cheer participants at the starting/Finish pointBooth Attendants - Hand out AF materials and sign-in e-advocatesRefreshment Helpers - Set-up tables, hand out refreshmentsWater Station Attendants - pass out water during and at the end of the eventFloaters - Assist with various assignments throughout the eventWater Stop Captains - Supervising the water stops
