About The Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following

Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and efficient code using Next.js and React. Implement and maintain server components, actions, data fetching, and caching Implement and maintain authentication and authorization systems Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write and maintain unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in web development Strong proficiency in TypeScript Proficient with Next.js, React and TailwindCSS Experience with SQL databases, preferably SQLite. Experience with Git and version control. Familiarity with RESTful APIs. Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases. Familiarity with atomic state management libraries such as Jotai or Recoil. Experience with React Server Components is a plus Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha. Experience with Object-relational mapping (eg, Prisma or Drizzle) Experience with form validations, preferably using Zod or Yup Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork skills

Our organization provides a range of programs for families in need. Every year we organize an annual toy giveaway to help families of diverse backgrounds that are below socioeconomic standards. Last year, we provided toys and gifts to 203 families in need, and it was a heartwarming experience to see the joy and happiness we brought to so many families.

The Donovan’s Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) has partnered with The Donovan’s Piano Room to host -while providing scholarships for- weekly online lessons to students who wish to learn music, music theory, sight-reading, and musical technique; we also produce annual benefit concerts and performances to be enjoyed by all, especially those who normally can’t afford to do so.
