Purpose Statement

This position supports the International Services Department (ISD) team. This position is 100% remote. It will support the staff within the ISD NHQ Business Operations group with Process Management related activities, reporting to the Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) program. The introduction of CPI program has created a demand for supporting ISD business units. We want to grow to four CPI Project Volunteers so we can meet the demand to identify and document business processes. We are using a Six Sigma approach so we can design business processes based on data by looking at the output of a process and identify the activities that need to be improved.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support as needed from process improvement teams.Support in the development of process mapping and operations procedures.Support functional process teams with their process improvement program.Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for existing and new processes.Conduct process team meetings as part of the CPI program.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of programs, such as Total Quality Management, ISO 9000, Six Sigma, or Business Process Management (BPM)Must be at least 18 years of ageExperience with Continuous Improvement TechniquesExperience with Mapping Tools, such as Visio, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPointExperience leading teams in problem solving and process improvementAble to work independentlyAvailability during the workday to meet with customer teamsWillingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policiesMust reside in the United States
