The Cyber Defense and Intelligence Center (CDIC), a state-of-the-art hub for cyber operations and intelligence gathering, is seeking dynamic and proactive volunteers to join our growing team. We are currently in need of a Grants Coordinator.

You will be responsible for the management of grant-related activities, including researching grant opportunities, grant writing, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with grant regulations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing grant funding and will be integral in supporting the financial stability and growth of the CDIC's programs.
Key Responsibilities **Research and identify grant opportunities that align with CDIC's mission and objectives.Write, submit, and manage grant proposals, ensuring they are compelling, timely, and adhere to funder guidelines and criteria.Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential funders, including government agencies, foundations, and corporations.Collaborate with the CDIC team to understand program needs and objectives, ensuring accurate representation in grant proposals.Track the progress of submitted proposals and provide regular updates to the management team.Monitor and ensure compliance with all grant requirements and deliverables, maintaining appropriate records and documentation.Prepare financial or budget plans and allocation along with the finance department in accordance with each requirement.Coordinate the preparation of progress reports or other required documentation for grantors.Train and guide staff on grant processes, compliance, and reporting requirements.Stay current on trends in grant funding and cyber defense and intelligence sectors to maximize grant success rates.Qualifications **Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Non-Profit Management, Public Administration, Finance, or related area.Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing and management, preferably within a non-profit or cyber security setting.Demonstrated success in obtaining grant funding and managing grant compliance.Strong research skills and attention to detail.Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant management software.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Knowledge of the cyber defense and intelligence landscape is preferred.General Requirements for All Volunteers **At least 18 years of age.A commitment to a minimum volunteer period (e.g., 6 months).Availability for a certain number of hours per week (e.g., 10-20 hours).Completion of a background check.Benefits of Volunteering with CDIC **Develop professional skills that are highly valuable.
