The Cyber Defense and Intelligence Center (CDIC), a state-of-the-art hub for cyber operations and intelligence gathering, is seeking dynamic and proactive volunteers to join our growing team. We are currently in need of a Marketing Coordinator.

You will lead and execute marketing strategies that raise awareness of our mission, increase engagement, and support fund-raising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, be proficient in digital marketing tactics, and be able to operate both independently and collaboratively. A passion for cybersecurity and the non-profit sector is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities **Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan that includes digital marketing, direct outreach, and event marketing to increase awareness and support for the Cyber Defense and Intelligence Center.Coordinate the creation of engaging content across multiple platforms, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and our website.Work closely with other departments to promote events, workshops, and other programs that support our mission.Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns to ensure they meet objectives, conduct market research, and analyze trends as needed.Manage email campaigns including content creation, segmentation, testing, sending, and reporting.Liaise with external vendors and partners to produce marketing materials of visual and written content.Ensure brand consistency in all marketing efforts.Support the development and management of the organization's marketing budget.Maintain an up-to-date understanding of cybersecurity trends and issues to inform marketing strategies.Optimize the organization's online presence through SEO and SEM.Qualifications **Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within a non-profit or technology-focused organization.Strong understanding of various marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, content management systems, and social media platforms.Proficiency with designing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High level of organization and attention to detail.The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Enthusiastic about cybersecurity and the mission of the Cyber Defense and Intelligence Center.General Requirements for All Volunteers **At least 18 years of age.A commitment to a minimum volunteer period (e.g., 6 months).Availability for a certain number of hours per week (e.g., 10-20 hours).Completion of a background check.Benefits of Volunteering with CDIC **Develop professional skills that are highly valuable.
