Director, Vontier Business Systems Transformation

As the Director of Business Transformation, you will orchestrate our company's strategic evolution, particularly as we integrate business agility with the well-established Vontier Business System (VBS) that includes the Lean framework. In this pivotal role, you will champion the infusion of agile methodologies into our business processes, complementing and enhancing our commitment to Lean principles and practices. Your leadership will be key in accelerating our growth strategy, transforming our portfolio, and introducing new products and solutions to the market. You will also play a fundamental role in driving operational excellence within our operating companies, leading cultural transformation, and continuing the transformation of VBS. As a leader within the organization, you will serve as a cultural and ID&E ambassador, setting expectations for Vontier and its operating companies to be inclusive and champions of VBS.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include

Strategic Leadership in Agile Transformation: Steer the organization’s high-level strategy to embed business agility while transforming the current framework of VBS, crafting a vision that aligns with the company’s long-term goals. Executive Management of VBS Toolkit: Oversee the strategic enhancement of the VBS toolkit, ensuring it is agile-ready and continues to drive value within the organization. High-Level Change Leadership: Lead the organizational transformation at an executive level, advocating for an agile culture while respecting the legacy and strengths of VBS. Strategic and Policy Deployment Leadership: Play a crucial role in the development and execution of organizational strategic and Policy Deployment (PD) Plans. Ensure these plans are effectively implemented at all levels, aligning with, and achieving the organization's overarching goals and objectives. Corporate-Level Agile Integration Planning: Develop and execute a corporate strategy for integrating Agile methodologies within the VBS framework, balancing innovation with operational excellence. Driving Enterprise-Wide Continuous Improvement: Champion enterprise-wide initiatives for continuous improvement, leveraging both VBS and business agility practices to foster a culture of innovation and excellence. Process Optimization: Direct high-level process optimization initiatives to enhance value creation, employing a strategic mix of VBS and agile methodologies. Executive Measurement and Impact Analysis: Design and oversee executive-level metrics and analytics to gauge the success and impact of the Business Agility transformation on the organization’s overall performance. Drive Enterprise-Wide VBS Optimization and Utilization: Ensure all new and current leaders are fully immersed in VBS tools and apply them to their critical few focus areas.

Who You Are

Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred Experience working across an organization at all levels, with a strong focus on executive leadership experience. Success in leading large-scale organizational transformations that harmonize business agility with VBS and Lean methodologies at a leadership level. Must be a proficient VBS practitioner and committed VBS evangelist. Proven P & L leader with a focus on execution and growth in a comparable industry or business. Proven transformation experience Strong understanding of the industry, market trends and competition. Demonstrated experience with influencing senior leadership on business change processes. Demonstrates a strong ability to navigate through ambiguity, adeptly understanding and synthesizing complex, disparate data to inform decision-making and problem-solving. Exceptional ability in strategic visioning and execution, with experience in driving large-scale transformation initiatives. Adept at managing significant organizational change from a leadership perspective. Strong executive presence with exemplary communication skills, capable of articulating a transformative vision while valuing the existing VBS framework.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

The base compensation range for this position is $147,300 to $212,060 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
