Our legal client has a national presence. They are seeking an Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to join their Miami/Ft. Lauderdale practice immediately.
Requirements
Experience in litigating first-party property damage insurance claims.They require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, computer proficiency.Ability to manage and prioritize caseloads while handling complex matters.Daily duties comprised of Legal research; pleadings, motions, and discovery; depositions and examinations under oath; and rendering opinions on liability, damages and the value of a case.Candidate must be a motivated, self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fun, collaborative environment.The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality client service, be able to identify and resolve problems promptly, be conscientious concerning work completion and deadlines, and be detail-oriented.Experience with general commercial litigation is a plus.Candidate must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar. Be able to travel as required for trials, hearings, depositions, and re-inspections.The position is ideal for an attorney with a strong work ethic and offers great an opportunity to grow within the firm.
