Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Attorney
Duties
Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support legal proceedings.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Defend claims against company.Attend court hearings, trials, mediations and other legal proceedings.Negotiate settlements.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies.Provide legal advice and guidance.Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.Stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases.
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong research and analytical abilities.Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation.Ability to negotiate effectively.Knowledge of legal research methods and resources, such as Lexis-Nexis.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.Prior experience in litigation required.
