A Field Maintenance Manager position is a multi-site position, responsible for all aspects of maintenance across the car wash locations within their district. They are to be self-motivated and have locations that are self-sustaining. The focus of a Maintenance Manager is also the development of the Maintenance Technicians on their team.

Job Purpose And Requirements

Responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department. This includes managing the upkeep of all manufacturing assets, managing maintenance budget / resources, and assisting in the design and installation of new systems. In addition, this position is responsible for managing multiple shifts of maintenance personnel.

Performs maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.

Provides training and continuous development for all maintenance personnel.

Perform a wide range of duties related to installing and maintaining machinery and backroom equipment.

Performs other duties by coordinating work with outside contractors, providing project management, ensuring safety of personnel, and performing other duties as required.

Travel between stores and provide routine scheduled maintenance and unscheduled breakdown repairs.

Build trusting relationships with the maintenance and operations team through our culture of accountability.

Troubleshoot, resolve, and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic issues.

Read and interpret manuals, work orders, electrical schematics, blueprints, and other equipment documentation.

Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.

Comply with all safety guidelines, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times.

Work efficiently and effectively when juggling multiple projects.

Follow all appearance, uniform, and grooming standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Team

Must be able to work a flexible schedule if needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other Characteristics

Moderate knowledge in at least four of the following competencies: Electrical, mechanical aptitude, welding, pneumatics, and plumbing.

The ability to juggle multiple projects while working individually and as a member of a team.

Excellent communication and coaching skills

Detail oriented and organized.

Proficient computer skills in spreadsheets; databases and word processing

Excellent technical knowledge of equipment, products, and processes

Self-motivated, results orientated, and excellent personal skills.

Strong knowledge in Maintenance and Reliability

Must have a hands-on work ethic.

Background Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

2+ years moderate- to advanced level experience in breakdown industrial and production maintenance preferred but not required.?

Industrial & Preventive Maintenance Experience

1+ years Trade school or equivalent in-field technical experience in advanced electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, pneumatics, hydraulics.

Valid drivers' license

Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, automation, and electrical systems.

Carwash knowledge including facilities machines and equipment is a plus.

Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Moderate experience in the following competencies: Electrical, mechanical aptitude, pneumatics, and plumbing.

Welding Experience Is Preferred But Not Required.

We can/will supply necessary tools to complete the job.

Work Environment and Conditions

Work involves daily exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise.

Work environment involves daily exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.

Physical Requirements: ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, see variations in color, and climb and work from ladders
