Retail Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Effectively communicate with both the owner, store manager and sales stylist to determine the best strategies to reach sales goals Set objectives for and assess performance of sales stylists Implement a sales plan that will optimize each stylist's strengths and monitor the resulting progress Establish honest and transparent relationships with customers to build a strong customer base and positive image in the community. Utilize sales performance reports to present to the management team to gauge effectiveness of implemented strategies Identify which merchandise areas are in need of growth and adjust sales plan accordingly Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability Assist in creating and executing creative marketing campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous experience as a retail sales manager (3+ years) or team lead in a bridal salon or other related boutique setting, successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets with progressive increased promotions Ability to communicate effectively with people from all different backgrounds and skill sets Thrive in a fast-paced team environment Proven ability to lead sales team to achieve personal and business goals alike Demonstrates powerful and respectful people management skills Ability to work every weekend including Saturday especially January through April is required as we are closed on Sundays.
