📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are growing and searching for a Safety Manager to join our team.
Duties And Responsibilities
Provides technical safety, health support and information to the company.Develop, ensure, and enhance compliance for Environment, Safety, and Industrial Hygiene compliance programs for customer requirements.Researches and prepares written safety and health procedures and policies.Identifies site safety training needs, coordinates, tracks, and facilitates safety training programs.Develops and supports JSAs, SOPs, KPIs, Strategic Planning, Injury Statistics, Monthly Safety Meetings, and other written safety documentation.Maintains the site's OSHA 300 Log and reporting requirements.Interfaces with employees to ensure implementation of corporate safety initiatives.Participates in safety reviews and provides leadership to the site safety committee.Conducts risk assessments and collaborates with area supervisors and employees to develop strategies and policies to mitigate safety risks.Conducts incident investigations and follow up with corrective actions.
Other Duties
Enters data into 3rd party sites like ISNetworld, Veriforce, etc..Manage and run company drug and alcohol program and work with contracted company to maintain safety complianceMeet with customer safety and management to represent the company in safety meetings and other activitiesTravel to field offices and conduct safety inspections and compliance audits and train local employees and supervisors.Travel up to 50% to field locations, overnight stays on weekdays during travel. Truck provided or allowance.
Job Requirements
AAS/BS/BA in related field - Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety/Industrial Hygiene, or similar.2+ years' experience in the safety industry.Working knowledge of safety rules and regulations, such as OSHA, NFPA, NEC, DOT/NOT-DOT Regulations, and/or FMCSA.Oilfield experience a plus.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
