Company DescriptionThe Washington Center for Bleeding Disorders (WACBD) is a federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center located in Seattle, WA. The center was established in 1974 to provide medical care and education to patients with inherited bleeding disorders throughout the state of Washington. As of 11/28/20, the operation of WACBD has moved to the Washington Institute for Coagulation (WIC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on providing education and care for people with bleeding disorders in the state. WACBD is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and its approved 340B pharmacy.
Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for a Clinical Pharmacist at WACBD - Washington Center for Bleeding Disorders, located in Seattle, WA. The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for daily pharmacy practice tasks, providing pharmaceutical care to patients, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure appropriate medication therapy management. The role also involves compounding medication when necessary.
