Restaurant General Manager

With Covid and the aftermath behind us, we are getting back on track with opening new restaurants. We are projecting to open about 100 new restaurants a year for the next 10 years. We are looking for great people looking to grow with us starting as Restaurant General Managers. We have increased our bonus for holding a Bachelors degree to $6k for the first 6 years and that increases to $10k for up to 10yrs. The average income for our area as a GM is $71k. We only promote from within starting at the GM position and District managers are over 3 restaurants. They earn $100k+/yr. Promotions aren’t seniority based. They are based on performance. We have a full training program. It’s 13-15 weeks long. The pay is hourly during this time and comes to $63k/yr. Once checked into your restaurant, you earn bonuses off of it. All Unit Managers work first shift (6:30am-3pm-ish) and run on a 6 days on/2days off schedule. This means the schedule for the entire year is already set. You know today what you are working on, say, March 17th. District Managers work in your restaurant on your 2 days off. You will never get a call on your days off about a call out or something not working. Waffle House also offers 3 ten day paid vacations a year and some great stock ownership options.
