Training and Development Media Specialist

As the Training & Development Media Specialist, you will work closely with all team members in the Training Department to create training content, develop internal communication strategies, and apply adult-learning principles to all training-related content and information. The ideal candidate will have a strong graphics design background to serve as the primary graphics creator for training content and internal company campaigns.

The Training & Development Media Specialist is a Support Team role based out of our Corporate Office in Norcross, GA in the metro Atlanta area. Our Corporate Office Support Team consists of 300+ Associates who are committed to supporting our Operations Team as they proudly serve and create memorable experiences for our Customers. What you'll do:Independently acquire data points needed for projects, including taking and editing photos, technical writing, doing research to write copy/script, and collaborating with other departments, as needed Serve as primary graphics creator for the department, specifically infographics, posters, logos, and other printed or digital assets required for training campaigns Assist with video or photo projects, as needed, including editing, script writing, and content upload to various platforms Maintain a working knowledge of Waffle House Operations and tailor publications and content to the restaurant operations experience Maintain production calendar and schedule correspondence for video production projects Assist the Director of Digital Learning & Video with content planning and reports Manage administrative parts of major video projects, including scheduling, forms, reporting, and planning

Experience/Educational Requirements:4-year degree, relevant certification, or equivalent experience preferred Previous experience with designing written and visual training material Advanced-level proficiency in Adobe CC Suite preferred, such as InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator Intermediate-to-advanced level proficiency in Outlook Office Suite, specifically Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
