About YouAs a member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible to provide support from concept planning, design to completion for new and remodeled supermarket projects.Duties include development of conceptual refrigeration and HVAC drawings for coordination with Architectural and Engineering drawings, review of construction drawings, retail equipment system selection, bid interpretation, contractor selection, refrigeration equipment budgets, equipment delivery coordination, and field visits for project meetings, installation oversight, and project close-out punch lists.

Essential Functions Working knowledge of all aspects of commercial refrigeration and HVAC design, operation, and installation.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Flexibility with regard to travel, overnights may be included.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and problem solve while staying within budget guidelines.Strong organizational skills.May be assigned additional responsibilities as necessary.Conducts competitive field analyses with the ability to engage with store associates

QualificationsBachelor of Science or Engineering Technology degree in Refrigeration & HVAC.Minimum five years of experience with Refrigeration and HVAC systems.Embodies strong leadership and influencing skills.Ability to handle multiple projects.Understanding of relevant building code, fire code and OSHA regulations.Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive throughout trading areaDemonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problems solving skills are requiredProficient technology skills to include: MS Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point with ability to be trained in various customized Real Estate programsConveys strong business acumen, uses sound judgement and decision making skills to manage job responsibilities
