Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Summer Pharmacy intern role located in Los Angeles/Southern California. As a Summer Pharmacy intern at Walgreens, you will be exposed to various aspects of pharmacy operations and assist pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmacy and healthcare services to customers. Your day-to-day tasks may include assisting with prescription processing, dispensing medications, providing customer service, and supporting compounding activities.
Qualifications Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and ability to assist with prescription processing and dispensingProficiency in customer service and ability to provide excellent customer careUnderstanding of compounding principles and ability to support compounding activitiesPharmacy Technicians license or certification is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work well in a team and collaborate effectivelyPrior experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus
